Restaurant case studies — real numbers from real kitchens.
A collection of restaurant marketing case studies — fine dining tasting counters, cafe chains, QSR brands, cloud kitchens and luxury restaurants. Real numbers, real growth, real timelines.
This page collects the GlobalRestaurantHub case studies that operators ask about most often — fine dining in Marseille, a Lagos counter, a 56-location QSR brand across the GCC, a cloud kitchen in Mumbai and a London cafe group. Numbers below are drawn from live programmes, with client permission, and represent average performance after the first 90 days.
Maison Folle — fully booked 11 months out.
Ụzọ Obi — booked out three months from Instagram alone.
56-location QSR — direct ordering passes aggregator share.
A Mumbai cloud kitchen — 40% of orders moved direct.
A London cafe group — afternoon daypart trebled.
Singapore fine dining — first cited in ChatGPT, fully booked.
Maison Folle — Marseille
A 14-seat tasting counter in Le Panier, Marseille. Run by a chef who buys the catch off the boats every morning. Before GlobalRestaurantHub, Maison Folle relied on TheFork for 78% of reservations, paid commission on every cover, and had a 9% no-show rate. The new website opens reservations on the first Monday of each month and sells out in 9 minutes. Direct reservations went from 22% of total to 100%. Commission paid dropped to zero. No-show rate dropped to 1.8% (deposits captured at booking).
Ụzọ Obi — Lagos
A 28-cover counter in Ikoyi, Lagos, by chef Adaeze Nwosu. The launch was Instagram-led — a 60-day Reels programme paired with mid-tier Lagos food creators, a custom restaurant website with WhatsApp booking, and a structured AEO programme that got the restaurant cited inside Vittles, Eater London and a Time Out 'best of West Africa' list. By month 4 the counter was booked three months out.
56-location QSR brand — GCC
A regional fast-casual chain with 56 locations across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and Bahrain. The mandate was to reduce aggregator dependence — at engagement start, 71% of orders came through Talabat, Deliveroo and Careem. Over 14 months we built a new direct-ordering website, deployed Apple/Google Wallet loyalty across the network, ran an aggressive bilingual Arabic/English Meta Ads programme, and rebuilt the CRM as the orchestration layer. By month 14, direct orders passed aggregator orders for the first time.
Mumbai cloud kitchen — multi-brand
A multi-brand cloud kitchen operator in Mumbai running 4 virtual brands from a single facility in Andheri. Before engagement, every order went through Zomato or Swiggy at 28% commission. We rebuilt the brand-specific direct ordering websites, launched a WhatsApp-led reorder programme, and ran a Meta Ads layer to drive new-customer acquisition direct.
London cafe group — daypart relaunch
A 5-location cafe group in central London with strong morning revenue and a dead afternoon. We rebuilt the website around dayparts (morning, lunch, afternoon work club, evening drinks), ran a structured Instagram programme aimed at the afternoon work-from-cafe audience, and launched a wallet-based loyalty programme. Afternoon revenue trebled within 6 months.
Singapore fine dining — AEO citation lift
A 26-seat tasting room in the Singapore CBD. The mandate was AEO and GEO — getting cited inside ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude and Perplexity when international diners asked for fine dining recommendations in the city. Over 90 days we ran entity work (Wikipedia, Wikidata), editorial PR (Vogue Singapore, FT Weekend, Eater), content rewrites and schema overhaul. Citation rate quadrupled.
